Tarifa - Castellar de la Frontera
The third stage begins strongly, ascending from sea level to the heights of the Natural Park of the Strait. After leaving Tarifa, the views open up over the Strait of Gibraltar from enclaves such as the Mirador del Estrecho and the Puerto del Bujeo, where Africa seems to be within reach.
The transition to the interior takes us to one of the green lungs of Europe: the Alcornocales Natural Park. The stage ends in Castellar de la Frontera, a stone jewel perched in the mountains, which retains its medieval castle and authentic charm.
